Pilot 2013

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, but I think I'm going to stick with just "Pilot" for now. (I haven't drawn this guy in 2 and a half years!)

A former student of the Federation academy, Pilot was best in his class. That is until an unfortunate accident almost cost him his life. Luckily the Federation provided cybernetic surgery, leaving him a cyborg but still mostly human.

A year later it appeared that the Federation would go to war with their neighboring planet after a massive assault comprised entirely of robots. However the Federation denied these claims and blamed faulty cybernetic and robotic technology. Fast forward another year and discrimination against robots and cyborgs alike runs rampant on both planets. Pilot, who was set to be the military's star rookie is designated waste removal and transport duty for defective ships.

3 years later, Pilot remains at his job and it seems that war is about to break out between the two planets. Pilot is given a special assignment. The transport of an advanced fighter jet that can only be operated by AI or a direct cybernetic link with the ship. He was to transport the ship behind enemy lines and leave it for their later use. That is all they told him.

However, on the way to their location, the fleet is ambushed and Pilot crash lands on a mountain on the enemy planet...That's all for now!
