Aunion - concept

Seriously, this has got to be the dumbest naming process I have ever used. Her hair looks kind of like an onion so...

The name's not important. I really wanted to draw something with an old school anime look to it. Think shoulder pads, wild 80's hairdo, those bendy elbow things you saw sometimes. I determined her hair color first and then based the rest of her color scheme on that. I really like this character even though I went into this piece thinking I wanted to try some new techniques. I will probably draw her again.
